Nice contribution, bro.
Radical Reformission by Mark Driscoll. Really changed the way I look at church and culture and their interaction.
Kudos for this one as well. Also, a book on similar issues is Radically Unchurched by Reid. He does an excellent job at explaining real difference between now and previous generations that need to be understood in order to be more effective, especially in the area of communication.
Theresa,
Two Cups of Teais on my reading list too...
QUESTION: How did yu know that overseas ministry was in your lifes story?
Well, Mission Possible by Marilyn Laszlo was perhaps the most inspirational towards leading me into missions, specifically Bible translation/church planting. It is fully of exciting stories, not necessarily all about success, that really show the blessing of doing such a work, as well as the need for it to be done. God used this book to give me an unshakable burden for reaching those who have no way of hearing His name.

Also, I want to mention a book that is not necessarily life changing, but it very good for gaining insights into witnessing is called The Unexpected Journey by Thom Rainer. It is written from the author's travels across the country, speaking to various people about how they came to Christ from twelve different religious backgrounds. The backgrounds include: Mormonism, Judaism, Hinduism, Atheism, Jehovah's Witness, Agnosticism, Wiccan, Buddhism, Unitarianism, Astrology, Islam, and Satanism. So, it provides excellent insight into about anyone you come across in America. It is also filled with snippets of facts about each belief system as you read through the chapters. I would highly suggest it for anyone who plans on witnessing in the States. This book really helps to shape a better view of people currently in these particular belief systems and the way that God began working in their lives.

Visits

Another day the father was at work and the mother was drunk with  with several other adults who were also drunk. One of the little girls was there by herself with those adults. We decided to take her to our house for the weekend and call a neighbor to let the mother know where her daughter was, which worked out fine because the…See More
